 Dr. Peter Brugger studied piano in Austria at Bruckner Conservatory in Linz, at Music University Salzburg “Mozarteum”  (Master of Art degree) with the famous pianist Prof. Alfons Kontarsky and in Paris with Prof. Claude Helffer. Since 1992 he is a director of the public music school in Bad Goisern and a artist director of the “International Master Class Salzkammergut”.

He works together with famous musicians from classic as rock and jazz. So he organized a drum camp with the drummers of Madonna and Frank Sinatra and also the first internet concert between USA and Austria with contemporary music.

He played concerts in most countries of Europe, in China, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Egypt. He produced records at Austrian National Broadcast with the famous “Vienna Chamber Orchestra” and Philippe Entremont and also at the Austrian National TV.  He played Chamber Music with the solo clarinetist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra Alois Brandhofer and with the famous violinist Benjamin Schmid. In Shen Zhen, he performed the Beethoven Piano Concerto Nr. 4 together with the Symphony Orchestra and with the president of the Mozarteum Salzburg, Klaus Ager as conductor.  He played also in the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Bejing 2006.

In Austria he got famous of his special Ideas in art performance. He moved a grand piano on the top of a snow mountain and also in an ice cave for his concerts. He used connections to other arts like painting and poets for his special musical projects.
