EURASIA Youth Music Competition Bad Goisern 2010 Duration: August 11-15, 2010 The main goal of this competition is the meeting between young musicians from East Asia and Europe. Students from China and Malaysia are visiting the Master Class in Bad Goisern since 10 Years. The main idea of this competition is the improving the international cultural exchange between this nations. Possibilities of performance at festivals in these regions will be organized for the prize winners. Age limits, groups and repertoire: Category A: born after 1/8/2002 Programm with a maximal duration of 6 Minutes, including one work composed before 1825 Category B: born after 1/8/2000 Programm with a maximal duration of 6 Minutes, including one work composed before 1825 Category C: born after 1/8/1998 Programm with a maximal duration of 8 Minutes, including one work composed before 1825
Category D: born after 1/8/1996 Programm with a maximal duration of 8 Minutes, including one work composed before 1825 Category E: born after 1/8/1994 Programm with a maximal duration of 10 Minutes, including one work from Brahms, Schumann ore Chopin Category F: born after 1/8/1992 Programm with a maximal duration of 14 Minutes, including one work from Brahms, Schumann ore Chopin Category G: born after 1/8/1990 Programm with a maximal duration of 16 Minutes, including one work composed before 1825 In the section Cello and Violin, there is free choice of programm for all groups, time limit is according the categories.
