Our Brass Masterclass, in German called "BLÄSERURLAUB 2010" takes place in Bad Goisern. This course is advertised for flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, horn, trumpet, flugelhorn, tenor horn, trombone, tuba, percussion and conducting.

INFO "BLÄSERURLAUB 2010" Dear music lovers, dear friends of the Bläserurlaub!
The time has come! It's the 12th time that we arrange the "Bläserurlaub Bad Goisern", a crash course coupled with eventful holidays in a very relaxed atmosphere, for woodwind section, brass, percussionists, ensemble and chapel directors, amidst the beautiful Salzkammergut. This year we offer two appointment dates: Especially, we would like to invite all ensemble and chapel directors, and those who try to become one, to our main subject Conducting. So they would have a great training opportunity. Furthermore, we would like to mention that we also offer Percussion (classical and modern), what the name "Bläserurlaub" doesn't show.
As teachers we invite, as normal, very established musicians, predominantly soloists of famous orchestras and professors of music-universities or academy's of music. The ideal distribution of students would be 9 students per each teacher, but in case of great demand we would invite more top executives.
Our course appeals to hobby-musicians, young musicians, music teachers and music students. The participants of the last years have been from 7 to 83 years old; beginners, students, music teachers and professionals.
We skilfully divide the participants into groups where they receive great support and form achievement-oriented ensembles.
As a useful supplement we offer lessons in breath control, body consciousness, pipe work, "Tanzlmusi" (a traditional way of dance music), "Weisenblasen", Big band, theory and arrangement, music and internet. Furthermore, there will be various exhibitions taking place within the course. To make the course even more attractive for families, ensembles and marching bands we offer very interesting family- and group discounts (common application is necessary!). Keen accommodations and cheap lunch and dinner are provided. Another essential part of our course are our common leisure time activities, e.g. hut evenings, hike in the mountains,
For the travelling family members we organize a social program.
